Chan Draw 2022 – The TotalEnergies African Nations Championship (CHAN) Algeria 2022 final draw will take place at the Opera House in Algiers, Algeria’s capital.

The African Nations Championship, known as the TotalEnergies African Nations Championship for sponsorship purposes, is a biennial African national association football tournament organized by the Confederation of African Football and first announced on 11 September 2007.
CHAN Draw 2022/2023
The draw will take place on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at 19:00 local time (18h00 GMT).
This will be a significant step toward next year’s CHAN, which will be held in Algeria from January 13 to February 4, 2023.
The Local Organising Committee, in collaboration with CAF, has been working tirelessly behind the scenes to prepare for the competition and the official draw.
The Algiers Boualem Bessaiah Opera House, which opened in 2016, has hosted major cultural and sporting events.
The Algiers Boualem Bessaiah Opera House has a capacity of 1300 people and sits on a surface of more than 40000 M2.
The hall is located in the Algerian capital’s western suburbs, in the commune of Ouled Fayet (15 kilometers from Algiers) and 30 minutes by car from Algiers Houari Boumediene airport.
The event will feature 18 countries for the first time, up from 16 teams previously.
Algeria (host country), Morocco, Libya, Senegal, Mali, Mauritania, Ivory Coast, Niger, Ghana, Cameroon, Congo, DR Congo, Uganda, Sudan, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Angola, and Madagascar are among those taking part.
