eZaga NSFAS Account, eZaga is one of the third-party financial service providers working with NSFAS to support the launch of the NSFAS MasterCard.

All NSFAS-funded students will receive a MasterCard and a bank account where their monthly stipends will be directly deposited each month. We are pleased to hand you your very own NSFAS MasterCard in association with eZaga.

How do I create an eZaga account?

Open the eZaga app on your smartphone or go to the eZaga website first. When prompted, enter “12345” for a temporary password and your ID number. You will be required to input a One-Time-Pin (OTP), which you will receive via email, after entering your login information.

• Open the eZaga app in step 1 Simply click “Forgot Password”
• Step 2: Tap on Reset Password after entering your “Username.”
• Step 3: Tap Reset Password after entering your “Security Answer entered on registration.”

Timeline for eZaga NSFAS Registration

Students will be required to register their eZaga NSFAS account in order to receive a bank card by doing the following:

1. Visit eZaga’s website by clicking here  or download the eZaga App
2. Enter your ID number and temporary password “12345”
3. Enter a One Time Pin (OTP) received via your email address.
4. Capture your information
5. Take a clear photo of yourself holding your ID and take a clear photo of your ID only.
6. Wait for an approval SMS from eZaga.
7. Once your account has been approved, a bank card will be distributed at your campus.

How long does eZaga take to transfer money?

EFTS Take 1-2 days to reflect in your beneficiary account.

How to withdraw money using cardless on the eZaga app

1. Step 1: Log into the eZaga App.
2. Step 2: Tap on “Withdraw Zaga”
3. Step 3: Tap on “Nedbank ATM”
4. Step 4: Enter the amount you would to withdraw and process.
5. Step 5: The voucher code will be received within an hour.
