Nacte verification award number, An award verification number is a unique identifier assigned to a specific honor or distinction in order to verify its validity and ensure that the recipient truly deserves it. It is used to verify the legitimacy of the award with NACTE and other Tanzanian higher education institutions.
To obtain an Award Verification Number (AVN) from NACTE, follow these steps.
Holders of diplomas who are applying for equivalent admission to degree and foundation programs must have an Award Verification Number (AVN) from NACTE.
By clicking on the award verification number (AVN) link on the NACTE website, one can obtain the AVN number online. Please be aware that you might need to pay a certain sum of money. (19NA12212ME) is an illustration of an AVN. Put no certificates online.
The system enables diploma holders who want to enroll in higher education to check the validity of their awards.

Conditions to request nacte verification award number
- You must be holder of Ordinary Certificate of Secondary Education (CSEE),
- General Certificate of Engineering (GCE) or its equivalent recognized by NECTA
- National Vocational Award (NVA) 3 from VETA or its equivalent recognized by VETA or General Certificate of Engineering(GCE) from NECTA
- Certificate of Education Under Mpango wa MUKA
