The Uganda School Calendar 2022/2023 is the document adopted by a local board of education that establishes the minimum school term, student instructional year or variable student instructional year, and days that school will not be in session.
The Uganda School Calendar 2022/2023 is provided so as to keep students, faculty, and staff reminded of key dates throughout the academic semester and year. It can also be useful for prospective students, alumni, and parents as well. Each educational institution creates its own academic calendar with its own defined dates.
Education System in Uganda
Uganda’s education is divided into three distinct levels; seven years of elementary, four years of lower secondary, and two years of upper secondary education. Elementary education is the primary level, which is compulsory and, since the introduction of UPE, is free for all Ugandan children age six to thirteen.
The Ministry of Education and Sports on Wednesday released a roadmap for primary, secondary, technical and farm schools as well as community polytechnics for the academic year 2022.
