How to Import Calendars to Outlook (Windows)

1. Select “Outlook Version” and click “Save.”
2. Choose folder where you wish to save calendar and click “Save” again.
3. In Outlook select the “File” menu and click “Open.”
4. Choose “Open Calendar” and locate the folder where you stored the Calendar.
5. In the “Files of type” list choose either iCalendar Format or VCalendar Format.
6. Select the Calendar file and click “OK.”

How to Import Calendars to iCal (Mac)

1. Right-click the ‘Outlook Version’ link for the selected calendar and click ‘Save Link As…’ and save to desktop.
2. Drag the .ics file from your desktop into the iCal application.
   Alternate option to Step 2: In iCal, select the FILE menu and click IMPORT. Then choose the calendar on which you wish to add the Academic Calendar.

• The deadline for Fall 2022 Graduation Applications and Graduate Admission to Candidacy is August 19, 2022.
• The priority registration payment deadline is August 22, 2022.
• UTK’s move-in day is Tuesday, August 23, 2022.
• UTK’s fall semester begins on Wednesday, August 24, 2022.
• On August 24, 2022, late registration/late fees will be implemented.
• The deadline to add, change grading options, or drop without a “W” for First Session Courses is August 29, 2022.
• The deadline to final register, add, change grading options, or drop Full Session Courses without a “W” is August 30, 2022.
• The late registration payment deadline is September 2, 2022.
• Labor Day is on Monday, September 5th, 2022.
• The deadline for changing hours for financial aid is September 7, 2022.
• UTK Fall Break 2022 runs from Thursday, October 6, 2022 to Friday, October 7, 2022.
• The first session will end on October 14, 2022.
• The last day to drop first session courses with a “W” is October 14, 2022
• On Monday, October 17, 2022, the second session will begin.
• The deadline to add, change grading options, or drop without a “W” for 2nd Session Courses is October 24, 2022.
• Graduate students must schedule their dissertation defense by October 28, 2022.
• There will be no class on Wednesday, November 23, 2022
• Thanksgiving will take place on Thursday, November 24, and Friday, November 25, 2022.
• The last day to drop 2nd Session Courses with a “W” is December 7, 2022.
• The deadline to withdraw from a full-term course with a “W” is December 7, 2022.
• The deadline for total withdrawal from the university is December 7, 2022.
• Classes for the full and second sessions will end on December 7, 2022.
• Study Day is set for Thursday, December 8, 2022.
• The fall semester exams will be held from Friday, December 9th, 2022 to Thursday, December 15th, 2022.
• The Thompson Boling Assembly Center & Arena will host the Graduate Hooding Ceremony on December 15, 2022.
• The commencement ceremony is scheduled for December 16, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. at the Thompson Boling Assembly Center & Arena.
• The official graduation date is December 17, 2022, according to the transcript.

• The University of Tennessee at Knoxville’s Spring Break 2023 will take place from Monday, March 13 to Friday, March 17, 2023.
• The second session will begin on March 20, 2023.
• On Thursday, April 6, 2023, there will be no classes.
• The spring break will begin on Friday, April 7, 2023.
• Classes for the full and second sessions will end on Tuesday, May 9, 2023.
• The 10th of May, 2023, has been designated as a study day.
• Spring exams in 2023 will be held from Thursday, May 11 to Wednesday, May 17 of that year.
