The RPNGC Recruitment 2026 is the process used by the Royal Papua New Guinea Constabulary to select new police officers by assessing applicants’ education, fitness, character, and suitability to serve in law enforcement, and it is carried out through an online system where applicants submit their details and documents for screening;
When using the Online Application Form, please carefully read the instructions. The online system will decide whether to accept or reject your application based on all of the specific information you submit.
The 2026 drive from RPNGC will be a regular-recruit intake, offering new candidates across Papua New Guinea the chance to join the national police force. It is part of a broader goal of the PNG government and RPNGC to significantly increase police numbers — as noted, one motivation is to expand the national police workforce in line with long-term law and justice reforms.
RPNGC plans to recruit around 700 new officers per intake from 2026 onwards (as part of this expansion plan).
