Here are the steps necessary for you to follow so that to automatically insert references and bibliography in your word document,
- Place the cursor where you want to place citation
- Click “document elements” tab, you will see a section named “References”
- Change references style to choose style you want by using the upside down arrow in the Reference section
- Click manage to add or remove citation in your document, you will see “citation” dialog box
- Click plus sign to insert citation in your document, you will see a “create new source” dialog box
- Click “Type of source” to change the source
- Add all important info about the source and click “OK” when you’re done
- Place cursor where you want to display references in your document
- Click “Bibliography” and then click “Bibliography or work cited” to display references in your document.
- Congratulations, you are done.
- Anytime you make changes in your documents remember to updates your Bibliography by simply click the dropdown arrow in the bibliography.
